Olive Oil -
Olive oil has been known by Mediterranean woman for centuries to be soothing, healing and mild. It is high in anti-oxidants and helps to keep your skin hydrated and wrinkle free. This is why we chose Olive oil to be the main ingredient in our handmade soaps. It makes our soaps long lasting, and helps in the production of a rich creamy lather to moisturise and nourish the skin.
Coconut oil
Has long been recognized as a superior skin moisturiser. It creates a protective layer on the skin that retains the skin's moisture. Coconut oil is a heavy, stable, emollient oil.
Castor Oil
Castor oil has a very high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids which is thought to be responsible for its remarkable skin caring qualities. Its high fat content is absorbed by the skin very slowly; this quality also helps draw dirt to itself. It helps to make our soap very moisturising. Ricinoleic acid is the main component of castor oil and its anti-inflammatory qualities are well known in the treatment of skin inflammation, abrasions, itching, fungal-infections and acne.
Neem Oil
Neem oil is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, and antiphrastic. The oil has moisturising and regenerative properties, contains Vitamin E, and has essential fatty acids. It can also be used to deter mosquitoes, fleas, flies, ticks, mites, and lice. Among others. Neem Oil has been historically used to treat the following: acne, eczema, psoriasis, scabies, gingivitis, dandruff, burns, wounds and athlete's foot
