Olive Oil -
Olive oil has been known by Mediterranean woman for centuries to be soothing, healing and mild. It is high in anti-oxidants and helps to keep your skin hydrated and wrinkle free. This is why we chose Olive oil to be the main ingredient in our handmade soaps. It makes our soaps long lasting, and helps in the production of a rich creamy lather to moisturise and nourish the skin.
Coconut oil
Has long been recognised as a superior skin moisturizer. It creates a protective layer on the skin that retains the skin's moisture. Coconut oil is a heavy, stable, emollient oil.
Palm oil (sustainable certified)
Is rich in many vitamins and nutrients that are essential for maintaining healthy skin. The skin's ability to absorb everything that is put on it makes Palm Oil a natural choice for moisturising. Is a natural antibacterial that aids in the prevention of acne and the protection of skin cuts and scrapes.
Shea Butter
Is an excellent skin emollient and ideal for dry skin. Shea butter is widely used in natural cosmetics as a superior skin moisturiser. Combats the effects of sun and ageing. It protects against drying, accelerates healing and nourishes, soothes, comforts and protects.
Hemp Seed Oil
Is especially good for dry and mature skin, softens dry and irritated skin. Contains Vitamins A, B, D and E and is rich in fatty acids, amino acids and proteins. Useful against acne, dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. Is a non-greasy emollient that penetrates the skin easily and increases elasticity helping to protect skin from excessive water and moisture loss. contains anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties.
